Why Adopt?

Puppy Mills and Back Yard Breeders, operating in dismal conditions in garages, basements, barns and bedrooms, produce huge numbers of puppies each year for profit and no other reason. They sell through retail pet stores and through classified ads.

These mills are not necessary to meet the public's demand for companion dogs, as there are more than enough wonderful dogs in shelters across the province that need homes.

Millions of unwanted and homeless kittens are born in our country each year. During peak kitten season, from April to September, pounds and humane shelters across Canada euthanise abandoned and unwanted cats at the rate of ONE PER MINUTE.

How Do I Adopt?

If you're interested in adopting, download and fill-in our adoption form to speed up the process. Applications must be approved prior to any in-person adoption viewings.

We're Available!

The animals pictured below are available for adoption. Our animals are given health checks, vaccinated and neutered/spayed before being released to their new owners.

We request a minimum donation of $75 for cat adoptions and $125 for dog adoptions.

Effective January 1, 2009, cat adoptions will increase to $100 for kittens 6 months of age and younger; $80 for adult cats older than 6 months of age.

If you would like to see any of these animals, or to find out about others looking for homes, please get in touch with us.
